2009 Committee Roles:
- Chairperson
- Responsible for the day to day running of the club. Oversees all the other committee and non committee roles. Chairs the regular committee meetings and AGM.
- Secretary
- Writes the minutes at meetings. This role can be expanded.
- Treasurer
- Keeps a record of and handles the clubs money. Provides financial feedback at every committee meeting and an annual financial report.
- Membership Secretary
- Provides application packs and membership forms for new members and renewal forms for existing members. Keeps a record of all members, new runners and membership fees received.
- Social Secretary
- Welcomes new runners to the club, provides information and support. Organises the clubs social events.
- Club Captains � Mens and Womens
- Active members of the club who race and train regularly with ABRaS. Encourage and remind members to enter races, keep members informed on races. Get to know members and encourage members to be involved with ABRaS. Coordinates and updates Club Records.
- IT
- Responsible for providing the club's presence on the Net: Website,Mailing Lists, Forum, etc. Leads or assists with material inputted on the website. Provides IT support for ABRaS races.
